Acquire and Maintain MOT Status
NYA now provide a range of DVSA approved courses to support garages and individuals to acquire and maintain MOT status.
Courses
The following courses are available:
MOT Managers – a 2 day course for people who plan to own or manage MOT stations.
MOT Tester training – a 4 day course for experienced technicians who want to become MOT testers.
In order to train as an MOT tester you need a Level 3 qualification. If you are an experienced mechanic but haven’t yet achieved this, we can help you gain a Level 3 in approximately 3 months.
MOT Annual Refresher – half day courses which include up to 4 hours professional development and an online test.
